Comparison of Roku and Firestick

Today's topic is about the comparison of Roku vs. Firestick to choose which one is best for streaming. Amazon Live Tv Apps Firestick and Roku both are now markets' most popular streamer's media devices. These two devices provide high definition video streaming content direct to television. We are going to compare both features, prices, capabilities so that you can decide which one is perfect for you.

Brief Comparison of Roku and Firestick

Though Roku is popular for cord-cutting they have no accessibility to provide but firestick has. Basically, Roku operates its system using a closed source system. We can only access the channel through the Roku app from the Roku Channel Store. That strands for Roku users lack plenty of free content accessible to those who use a Firestick and Fire TV.

Comparing Roku vs Firestick

Amazon's Fire TV stick 4K has been released in 2018, which was an upgraded version. It also includes a 4K streaming feature and a prominent feature is Alexa Voice remote control facility. Its voice recognition feature works perfectly, users can simply voice to play movies and shows, open apps, and can much more. In 2020 they changed some bugs from my favorite live tv app firestick and released the latest version which consists of third-generation Fire TV Stick and Stick Lite. Its selling price is around $39.99 and $29.99. At a cheaper rate, these new apps have almost the same capability as Fire TV.

On the other hand, Roku has released its fourth generation players in 2015 to feed the market's demand at an inexpensive price. It has various editions that vary in power, size, price, and many more. There are fewer upfront fees in Roku but eventually, it requires spending some bucks on content that needn't be bought in Firestick or Fire TV. Though Roku supports voice recognition search by mobile apps it doesn't express the premium quality. It depends on Alex and Google Assistant. Audio quality is quite good, supports Digital Stereo through HDMI, Dolby Audio, and Digital Surround.

If I come to the Capacity. Firestick live TV allows 8GB capacity for the first time, Cloud storage is free of charge for all Amazon contents.

Roku has limited storage only 256Mb and 512 Mb memory but you can increase it with an SD card.

I like the parental controls option in Amazon Firestick, which helps to prevent unwanted inappropriate adult content for children. But Roku has no headache about this important matter.

TV Compatibility

Firestick is compatible with any HDMI-accessible high-definition tv, high-speed internet connectivity via Wi-Fi.

Roku supports up to 1080p HD TV, 4K UHD TVs up to 2160p, and 4K UHD HDR TVs up to 9600p.
